Tried to recap all the two weeks activities into one entry but tak bestlah since I will miss putting in some nice pictures taken during out "BBQ cum Satay" gathering. Well since our Cik Oja had just returned from her extended summer/raya holiday, we decided to have a gathering. Furthermore, our Syed Rafee's family just arrived Muscat for a holiday, so it's more or less a welcome gathering which we normally have. As usual, it was a pot luck gathering.

We had fried rice, baked potatoes, potatoe salad, laksa johor and of course no BBQ is complete without the chicken wings, sausages and the main item of the night was satay with all its nasi impit, kuah kacang, timum etc. Its been a long time I had satay that tasted so nice and the meat was so tender. I think this satay is so much better than our famous "Satay Kajang Samsuri". Well, we have our Cik Rohaya and Zaileha to thank for the nice satay. Another thing I tried for the first time was the Sarawakian sushi call "Umai" and ikan tongkol bakar which surprise me tasted very nice. So looks like now I have another type of fish which I can grille in the future.

Well no gathering is complete without our karaoke session. This time around, we sang mostly oldies (songs from 1970 plus) and everyone was trying to score the highest. The entertainer for the night went to our En. Nazeri who sang macam pro.
