With hari raya just around the corner, most of my friends & family are busy making raya cookies or tgh buat tunjuk kuih. Normally during this time back home, I will be busy making cookies with mummy and also Evone. Its been two years now and I miss the times we spend disturbing mummy while baking. So on Monday I started to make cookies by myself. So far I have made 3 types of cookies. It's a good thing Haikal and the two big kiddos are at school so there's nobody to distract or disturb me.

On Thursday, we had our final weekend iftar and terawih at my place. I made nasi ayam, kuih sago, jemput-jemput roti, bubur pulut hitam for iftar. My fellow guest brought with them "Badak Berendam", cheese jelly, talam jagung and a special sarawakian dish call "Madu Tiga". Others came with pudding kurma, serunding pulut,cream puff, samosa and nuggets.

After our our prayers and terawih and since most of us were in the spirit, we sang raya songs and also took lots of pictures. Tonight Shukor & Adnan were going back for 1 month to celebrate Eid with their family back.


We also had a karaoke session with Hj, Shukor, Syed, Roza, Razak, Raja, Hamzah, Ida, Zaleha singing. The rest of us also sang as backup singers aje. The show of the night went to our Syed Rafee whose showmanship was the best of all.

Our gathering ended at nearly 10.30pm with our Cik Roza singing the last song. It was a great gathering and I was very glad that we finish most of the food and we did not have much leftovers since my fridge is already crying out for help.

Our next gathering will be on the eve of Eid Mubarak at Hj and Rohaya's place.
